As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for discovering and driving business opportunities. Your role will involve conducting market validation and feasibility assessments, as well as leading strategic incubation and business building efforts.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Discovery & Landscape Analysis:
- Conduct ongoing analysis of the IoT ecosystem to identify emerging technologies, new business models, competitor moves, and untapped market whitespace.
- Develop insightful reports on long-term trends, disruptions, and potential threats to our current business model.
- Market Validation & Feasibility Assessment:
- Design and execute rigorous validation processes for new opportunity hypotheses, utilizing customer research, expert interviews, competitive analysis, and prototype testing.
- Develop robust financial models and business cases to assess the market size, potential ROI, and strategic value of new opportunities.
- Strategic Incubation & Business Building:
- Lead the initial incubation phase for opportunities that pass validation, including defining product-market fit, building minimal viable products (MVPs) or prototypes, and running pilot programs with early customers.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to accelerate the incubation process.
- Ecosystem Engagement:
- Build a network of external contacts to serve as a radar for emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities.
- Strategic Communication:
- Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior leadership to inform strategic investment decisions.
