Visionary Software Developer

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy C++ software modules for on-device video capture, processing, inference, and post-processing on Linux.
- Implement image processing pipelines and computer vision algorithms, including denoise, resize, color space conversion, undistortion, key points detection, homography estimation, optical flow calculation, and tracking.
- Create and optimize distance estimation from monocular or stereo cameras using calibration, geometry, and/or depth-estimation networks.
- Integrate machine learning models into our system for events such as drowsiness, distraction, phone usage, smoking, seat belt use, etc.
- Meet real-time targets for frames per second (FPS), latency, and memory on CPU, GPU, and NPU using SIMD, multithreading, and zero-copy buffers.
- Write clean, testable, and modular C++ code with CMake builds and Git-based workflows.
- Instrument logging and telemetry; debug with gdb, addr2line, sanitize, and profile with perf and valgrind.
- At least 2 years of experience in modern C++ on Linux with strong Git and CMake skills.
- Solid foundations in image processing and computer vision, including camera models, intrinsics, extrinsics, distortion, PnP, epipolar geometry.
- Practical experience integrating computer vision and machine learning models on device with OpenCV and ONNX Runtime.
- Experience building real-time pipelines for live video with GStreamer and FFmpeg, optimizing for latency and memory.
- Competence in multithreading, concurrency, lock-free queues, and producer-consumer designs.
- Experience with driver monitoring or ADAS features, event logic, and thresholding for production alerts.
- Knowledge of monocular depth estimation, stereo matching, or structure from motion for distance estimation.
- Model training exposure, including data augmentation, evaluation, quantization, pruning, and conversion to ONNX and TensorRT.
- Hardware acceleration with GPU, VPU, NPU, Arm NEON, and DSP, YOLO, RT DETR, and Lightweight backbones on edge.
- Cross-compiling, Yocto, Buildroot, containerized toolchains, unit tests, static analysis, and sanitizers.
- Familiarity with MQTT, IoT, message schemas, and over-the-air updates.
