Project Director Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Director to lead the execution of projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage resources effectively.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take charge of projects and drive them to successful completion. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for defining project scope and objectives, predicting and managing resources, and preparing and tracking project budgets.

The successful candidate will also develop and manage detailed project schedules, provide consistent updates to stakeholders, and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Definition: Determine and define project scope and objectives. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements, and track project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Scheduling & Work Planning: Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders, covering strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Manage the contractor and their team, ensuring work completion as per the project timeline.
  • Quality & Best Practices: Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Skills: Proven experience in defining project scope, managing resources, and budgeting. Strong ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans. Excellent communication skills for providing project updates to various stakeholders. Expertise in managing contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Demonstrated experience in utilizing industry best practices for project execution. Ability to monitor project progress, make adjustments, and measure performance for improvement.
