Leading a Governance, Risk and Compliance program within an organization requires a senior professional with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
About the RoleThe primary purpose of this position is to support the review of risk and controls, ensuring comprehensive coverage of risk universe at activity level and adequacy of controls to mitigate risk of operational & technology failures and regulatory noncompliance.
The selected candidate will participate in the design of registers/templates and workflows in the GRC tool, providing a unified view of risk at the entity level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead risk assessments and profiling for business units and operational activities.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt risk management practices accordingly.
- Ensure policies/processes are designed to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand processes and facilitate documentation of controls.
- Provide oversight and challenge business units on risk management practices.
- Carry out risk aggregation exercise to provide unified view of risk.
- Promote the use of advanced technologies and data analytics in risk management.
- Act as a key point of contact for risk-related matters pertaining to business and operations.
