Vice President - Data Governance II Role

We're seeking a future team member for the Vice President - Data Governance II role to join our Asset Servicing Divisional Data Office team in Pune, MH. This role offers a hybrid schedule with shift timings in the US or EMEA time zones, from noon to PM.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements and data specifications for data management projects.
  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and mapping to identify data sources, data flows, data transformations, and data quality issues.
  • Design, develop, and test data solutions using data management tools and methodologies, such as data modeling, data integration, data cleansing, data governance, and data security.
  • Ensure data solutions comply with data standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Provide data quality assurance and data validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Create and maintain data documentation, such as data dictionaries, data catalogs, data lineage, and data quality reports.
  • Provide data support and troubleshooting to resolve data issues and queries.
  • Deliver data reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data management teams and other cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and integration across data domains and systems.
  • Stay updated with data industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, data, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least - years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role in data management or data-related projects.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in data management concepts, principles, and practices, such as data modeling, data integration, data quality, data governance, and data security.
  • Proficient in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, ETL, data warehouse, data lake, data catalog, data quality, and data visualization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in data management, data analysis, or data science is a plus.
