Lead Frontend Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Lead Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for spearheading the design and development of our front-end software application architecture.

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in designing templated, white-labeled portals leveraging micro frontend architecture. You will work closely with our back-end API teams to develop new features, collaborate with product managers to drill down high-level requirements into consumable stories for the team, and drive technical excellence in the team through code reviews.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and data integrity of our application and infrastructure, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, and making high-level design choices with required analysis for the betterment of the product.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement single page applications using Grommet UI and Material UI, integrate a modern CMS into a robust web application, and create well-abstracted, reusable UI components.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop front-end software application architecture

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing user interfaces using React and Next.js
  • Working experience on Redux with React to handle large chunks of data with great performance
  • Familiarity with creating custom reusable React components library
  • Implementing single page applications using Grommet UI and Material UI
  • Using React-Router to turn applications into single page applications
  • Experience working with ES5, ES6, and TypeScript features for handling asynchronous data requests
  • Able to create well-abstracted, reusable UI components
  • Keen eye for producing clean and semantic markup
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience integrating a modern CMS into a robust web application
