Gabeo.ai is a pioneering venture-backed startup leveraging agentic AI to transform backend workflows in revenue cycle management. We partner with leading hospital systems to deploy automation agents, enhancing accuracy, speed, and outcomes.

This key leadership role requires a strong technical background, experience in leading high-performing engineering teams, and a bias toward delivering results.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the architecture and development of our agentic AI platform
  • Designing scalable, reliable backend infrastructure powering automation workflows
  • Leading and mentoring a distributed engineering team
  • Collaborating closely with product, operations, and implementation teams to deliver into real-world hospital environments
  • Driving technical execution across short-term priorities and long-term strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred or equivalent real-world experience)
  • Deep experience with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments
  • Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems and APIs
  • Experience leading engineering teams or projects with high accountability and ownership
