Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and AWS services.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Databricks (SQL, PySpark) and AWS services.
  • Assist in data integration, transformation, and advanced analysis tasks to support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment with a focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code for data processing tasks.
  • Work with AWS services such as S3 and EC2 for data storage and compute requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Ensure data quality checks and documentation of solutions.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience with ETL processes and data management principles.
  • Proficiency in Databricks Workflows for automating data jobs.
  • AWS and Databricks certifications are advantageous but not required.
Requirements:
  • Strong Python programming skills with experience in data processing.
  • Working knowledge of Databricks (SQL, PySpark) and AWS services.
  • Basic understanding of development tools such as JIRA and Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
