Senior Databricks Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Senior Databricks Engineer to collaborate on cutting-edge Azure Data Engineering projects. As a key member of our growing team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable data pipelines with Databricks, PySpark & Spark SQL.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-performance data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
  • Implementing and managing Delta Lake architecture, including lakehouse design principles.
  • Configuring and administering Databricks (Workspace, Jobs, DLT, Unity Catalog).
  • Developing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Orchestrating workflows using Airflow and Azure Data Factory.
  • Ensuring data governance, security, and performance optimization throughout the data pipeline.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
  • Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lakehouse architectures.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow and Azure Data Factory).
  • Bonus points for knowledge of Azure Synapse, data modeling, or governance frameworks.
