Job Summary:

The role of Senior Data Engineer involves utilizing advanced SQL skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues in large databases.

This position demands strong expertise in data quality management, migration, and validation. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and debugging data discrepancies, implementing rollback logic using tools like Phinx, Flyway, or Liquibase, and collaborating with product and QA teams to validate fixes.

  • Analyze and debug data quality issues across multiple related tables.
  • Write complex SQL queries using joins, CTEs, window functions, temp tables, and nested queries.
  • Perform schema-level fixes and implement rollback logic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reproducibility.
Key Responsibilities:

This challenging role involves solving critical data problems and migrating database schema. Proficiency in clinical trial systems, CTMS, EDC, and multi-tenant platforms is a plus. Additionally, knowledge of ETL processes, big data technologies, and cloud databases can be beneficial.

The ideal candidate must possess advanced SQL development skills, data remediation expertise, database migration experience, and data validation and QA skills.
