Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the finance and shared services operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large, shared-services operations and possess strong expertise in audit, tax, and financial control.

About the Role

The Director of Finance and Shared Services will lead the outsourced India-based shared services center, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of finance-related services to the distribution business across multiple African markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage the Shared Services Center: Oversee the daily operations of the shared services center, ensuring seamless delivery of finance processes.
  • Drive Process Standardization and Automation: Implement initiatives to standardize and automate processes, enhancing service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Establish Governance Routines: Set up robust KPI dashboards and governance routines to monitor performance and drive compliance.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Foster relationships with country finance and operations teams across Africa, aligning shared services support with local requirements.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Lead vendor relationships and third-party service providers supporting shared services.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in finance, shared services, preferably in automotive distribution or related sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing large, shared-services operations, ideally in a multi-country environment.
