Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect Lead to spearhead our data strategy at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with Big Data tools and frameworks
  • Develop and maintain scalable data architectures, driving business value through efficient data processing and analytics
  • Analyze complex data requirements and provide innovative solutions for data storage and processing
  • Evaluate alternative approaches for data modeling and ETL processes, optimizing system performance and scalability

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of distributed computing principles - Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
  • Experience with GCP cloud platforms Airflow, Cloud Composer, Data Fusion, Data Flow, Data Proc, Big Query
  • Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
  • Hands-on experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and guide team members in data architecture best practices
