Role Overview

The Service Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of complex development projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project stakeholders, teams, and owners to develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and facilitate seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain thorough project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Monitor project progression, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery
  • Facilitate effective team-wise communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams
  • Support quality assurance objectives and participate in release management cycles
  • Coach project teams on Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management best practices
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks
  • Ensure budgetary objectives are met and make adjustments to project constraints as necessary
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver complex development projects

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience
  • At least 15 years of experience in project management, preferably within the IT industry
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, project management, and software development life cycles
