Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and representing the design team at Final Assembly and Testing (FATP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that meet ambitious specifications at massive production scales.

The successful candidate will possess strong assembly tolerance stack and failure analysis skills, enabling them to quickly resolve assembly-related issues. Additionally, they will be able to compile and evaluate data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications.

As a key member of our quality engineering team, the chosen candidate will lead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields. They will also ensure that quality plans and measurements are aligned across different nodes of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement measurement technologies, control strategies, and information systems that achieve high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive corrective actions and improve processes.
  • Evaluate and communicate yields of new and existing processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and quality control of highly sophisticated electronic assemblies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and passion for learning and adapting to a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with statistical analytical tools like JMP or Minitab.
  • Knowledge of critical assembly/joining processes such as glueing, HAF, PSA, welding, and quality metrics.
