Job Title: Gastroenterologist

Ohio Hospital & Medical Centre is a 325-bedded, multi-specialty hospital located in New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata.

  • We are seeking a full-time, on-site DM Gastroenterologist to join our growing team in Kolkata (Greater Kolkata Area).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures (Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, etc.)
  • Manage hepatology cases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Surgery, Oncology, Critical Care, Radiology, etc.) for holistic patient management
  • Participate in academic training programs, CMEs, and clinical quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
  • DM (Gastroenterology) from a recognized institute (mandatory)
  • Strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures (Upper GI, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, etc.)
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment
  • Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital preferred, though fresh DM graduates are also encouraged to apply
