Senior Financial Services Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Financial Services Manager to join our team. As a Senior Financial Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting transactions, generating accounts receivable invoices, and accepting vendor invoices and employee claims.

About You:

  • You have a minimum of 0-2.5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • You have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • You are well-versed in SAP and Tally Prime accounting ERPs.
  • You have excellent hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are proactive and have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with management, stakeholders, and peers.
  • You can communicate and document problems, resolutions, and action plans.

Responsibilities:

  1. Record day-to-day accounting transactions.
  2. Generate accounts receivable invoices, e-invoices, sales orders, delivery challans, etc. using Tally Prime.
  3. Accept vendor invoices and employee claims and acknowledge them.
  4. Check whether expenses are capital or revenue in nature and verify any other costs associated with capital expenditure.
  5. Verify invoices and employee claims as per process and obtain requisite approvals within Finance before capturing entries in books.
  6. Make routine book entries in accounting packages after verifying applicability of TDS and GST.
  7. Prepare employee claim and vendor payment advices as per agreed process.
  8. Prepare debtor/creditor/bank reconciliations.
  9. Prepare TDS workings-monthly and TDS returns-quarterly basis.
  10. Prepare amortization schedules of prepaid expenses.
  11. Filing of vouchers on daily-weekly-monthly basis as agreed process.
  12. Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with auditors.
  13. Coordinate with clients for missing/incomplete information on a routine basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com), or MBA.
  • Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
