Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Services Consultant. As an Associate Director in our Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC) team, you will provide high-quality accounting advisory services to clients in the Financial Services domain.

You will manage senior stakeholder relationships, collaborate with Partner Directors, mentor team members, and support business development and practice management initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual passionate about delivering expert guidance on complex accounting issues and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development.
  • Manage client relationships, serving as a key point of contact for clients.
  • Oversee project management for consulting engagements.
  • Provide technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues; conduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos.
  • Assist clients with the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Assist clients with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
  • Review and analyze client financial information and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong domain knowledge of Financial Services.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure—stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.
