Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain architecture principles, guidelines, and standards
  • Work with data warehousing systems
  • Proficient in programming languages Python and Java
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions in big data and data analytics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong Google Cloud Platform Data Components – Big Query, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, Data proc, Data Flow, Data Fusion, etc.

Professional Summary:

  • Technical professional with expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and big data
  • Hands-on experience developing software code in one or more languages such as Java and Python
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Data Components
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on data projects in the cloud specifically GCP

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of MPP systems, database systems, ETL and ELT systems, and data flow compute
  • Able to advise on best practices for client solutions
  • Experience coaching junior data engineers and working on solution decks
