Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help implement an application for a large retailer.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Expertise in Python, Pyspark and SQL.
  • Hands-on Python/PySpark coding experience.
  • Strong Big Data experience, with GCP being a plus.
  • Telemetry experience.
  • Streaming experience with analytics and data processing.
  • Business analytics experience and the ability to work directly with business partners to implement feedback.

In addition to the above skills, having a strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in Refrigeration units, HVAC systems, Controllers and sensors, would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

This is a Senior Data Engineer position that requires hands-on coding expertise in Python and Pyspark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Telemetry, Big Data and backend engineering.
