Job Description

Our organization is looking for a skilled data professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with experience working with structured and unstructured data. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with data warehousing and business intelligence leads to develop new ETL pipeline requirements, identify and troubleshoot issues, and design data models to meet reporting needs.

Additionally, you will help junior team members resolve technical challenges and drive discussions with client architects and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about data engineering and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in Snowflake security, SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects
  • Hands-on experience with SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowsight, and Snowflake connectors
  • Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles
  • Good understanding of Databricks Data & AI platform and Databricks Delta Lake Architecture
  • Should have hands-on experience in SQL and Spark (PySpark)
  • Experience in building ETL/data warehouse transformation processes
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including imaging and geospatial data
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment with tools like Terraform, CircleCI, and GIT
  • Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional Certification (desired)
