Project Coordinator Job Description

The role of a Project Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the success of projects within an organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project direction, planning, and financial outcome.

This position involves:

  • Project Allocation: Assigning tasks and resources to team members based on project requirements.
  • Capacity Management: Monitoring and adjusting team capacity to meet project demands.
  • Team Management: Leading and guiding team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Project Monitoring: Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • KPI Achievement: Ensuring that project outcomes align with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Proactive Forecasting: Anticipating project-related concerns and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Managing communications with multiple stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Escalation Handling: Resolving project-related conflicts and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • RCA and AIs: Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Action Items (AIs) to improve project outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Digging out and analyzing numbers to inform project decisions.
  • Report Preparation: Preparing regular reports to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
  • Meeting Minutes: Drafting and sharing Meeting Minutes (MoMs) after meetings to ensure clarity and accountability.
