Quality Management Expert

We are seeking an experienced Quality Management expert to join our team remotely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and documenting quality management processes, configuring and customizing the SAP QM module, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting system testing, providing user training, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and participating in SAP projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and Documenting Quality Management Processes: Identify improvement opportunities aligned with SAP QM functionality, document findings and recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Configuring and Customizing SAP QM Module: Configure and customize the SAP QM module to support quality planning, inspection processing, quality notifications, and audit management.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Gather requirements, design effective quality management solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Conducting System Testing and User Training: Conduct system testing, provide user training, and documentation to support successful adoption of QM processes.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve SAP QM functional and technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to quality operations.
  • Participating in SAP Projects: Participate in SAP projects, including implementations, rollouts, and upgrades with a focus on QM functionality and process integration.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP QM in ECC or S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, including inspection types, usage decisions, results recording, and quality notifications.
  • Experience configuring quality control processes, such as incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
  • Familiarity with integration points between QM and modules like MM, PP, and PM.
  • Experience writing functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and interfaces related to QM.
  • SAP S/4HANA QM experience is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit support within a manufacturing or life sciences environment is an advantage.
