Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
  • Communicate company values and culture to new employees.
  • Review and implement new Reservations procedures.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
  • Determine appropriate room types for guests based on their needs.
  • Verify room availability and rates.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
  • Accommodate and document special guest requests.
  • Provide information about property facilities and services.
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Manage data in the reservation system.
  • Respond to challenges related to accommodating rooming requests.
  • Set up billing accounts according to Accounting policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues and concerns.
  • Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
