Job Role: Data Engineer II

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and implementation of large-scale distributed data systems.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in big data technologies (Apache Hadoop) and relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).

They should be proficient in at least one of the following programming languages - Java, Python or Scala, and possess expertise in SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL/SPARK-SQL/HIVE-QL).

This includes researching and integrating new Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities. They will create reusable components and data tools which facilitate seamless integration with our data platform.

To achieve this, we utilize cutting-edge Machine Learning and AI technologies on a large Hadoop cluster. Our tech stack comprises Java, Elasticsearch/Solr, Kafka, Spark, Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning, Redis, and Big Data technologies like HBase, YARN etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, executing, and managing large-scale distributed data systems
  • Researching and integrating new Big Data tools and frameworks
  • Creating reusable components and data tools
  • Collaborating with teams to integrate with our data platform

Required Skills:

  • Experience in big data technologies (Apache Hadoop)
  • Relational database management skills (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Programming language proficiency (Java, Python or Scala)
  • Expertise in SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL/SPARK-SQL/HIVE-QL)
