Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe DB2 system administrator to support and maintain the bank's operational infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include performing Mainframe DB2 system administration roles, including DB2 installs and version upgrades, as well as performing Mainframe DB2 Incident /Problem and Change support activities.

  • Performing Mainframe DB2 system administration tasks with expertise in DB2 installs and version upgrades.
  • Providing Mainframe DB2 Incident/Problem and Change support activities with high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across the organization.

Successful candidates will have a strong background in Mainframe DB2 system administration, experience with DB2 release/version upgrades, and previous experience in implementing and performing backup and recovery procedures.

Additional requirements include:

  • Strong Mainframe z/OS skills and understanding.
  • Experience in implementing and performing backup and recovery procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
