Years of Exp: 1-3 yrs

Qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTECH/MS

Location : Bangalore ( Peenya)

Job Description : We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Administrator who will be responsible for providing comprehensive systems and network support. The ideal candidate will manage installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both hardware and software systems across desktop and server platforms. The role also includes ensuring system performance, implementing security practices, and supporting networking infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of operational experience in a Windows environment.

  • Experience in:

  • Windows/Linux OS administration and troubleshooting

  • Installation and configuration of applications on Windows and Linux
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, servers)

  • Desktop support and user issue resolution

  • Working knowledge of:

  • Desktop, Laptop, and Server Hardware Management

  • Basic Active Directory Server Administration
  • Web Servers (Apache, IIS) and MySQL Server Administration
  • Central Antivirus Server Management
  • Basic Network and Application Monitoring Tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
  • VLAN configuration on managed switches

  • Router, Firewall, and Switch Configurations

  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2008/2012

  • Ability to:

  • Monitor and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware

  • Document standards, system configurations, and policies
  • Work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Mentor or guide junior team members as needed

  • Collaborate across teams and assist when required

  • Strong team player with effective communication and documentation skills

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts including weekdays and weekends

Mandatory Skills

  • Certification in at least one of the following:

  • RHCE / MCP / MCPIT / CCNA / Microsoft Azure

  • Technical proficiency in:

  • Windows Server 2008/2012 Administration

  • Linux Administration

  • DNS, DHCP, IIS, and FTP

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
