Job Opportunity:

Clinical Data Specialist

 

  • As a Clinical Data Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and executing clinical data conversion and migration projects across various EMR platforms. Your expertise in MS SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS) will help design scalable, flexible data conversion solutions that support diverse clinical systems.
  • With your experience in handling clinical data either in the field of data conversion or reporting using Powerbi/tableau, you will work in EHR-agnostic environments to troubleshoot data anomalies and provide resolution strategies.
  • You will collaborate with clinical informatics teams, data analysts, and IT stakeholders to validate data accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards during data handling and migration.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MS SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS): Expertise in designing and developing scalable, flexible data conversion solutions.
  • Clinical Data Handling: Experience in handling clinical data either in the field of data conversion or reporting using Powerbi/tableau.
  • Data Validation, QA, and UAT: Proficiency in handling data from flat files, XML, JSON, and other data formats, as well as familiarity with HL7, FHIR, CCD, and other healthcare data exchange standards.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Proven excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
