Job Description

As a skilled Robotics Application Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support and solutions to our customers. Your expertise will enable us to promote our robot products and contribute to the success of various projects across diverse industries.

The job entails understanding customer requirements and assisting the sales team by proposing innovative solutions. You will also be responsible for providing remote technical support, programming and training services, and promoting software solutions.

Additionally, you will participate in design and implementation of demonstration systems, automate related exhibitions, and regularly communicate with headquarters to receive support or provide feedback.

Responsibilities
  1. Understand customer requirements and propose solutions to promote Staubli Robot products
  2. Provide remote technical support through multiple communication mediums
  3. Offer programming and teaching trainings to Staubli customers
  4. Assist customers in using, programming, and integrating Staubli Robots onsite or offsite
  5. Promote and support software solutions
  6. Follow up on automation projects and customers
  7. Participate in design and implementation of demonstration systems and automation related exhibitions
  8. Regularly communicate with Staubli Headquarters
  9. Participate in application hotline
  10. Update status and availability daily
  11. Complete field service reports and document application interventions in CRM
  12. Coordinate responsibilities, activities, and schedule with Local Manager
Technical Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in robotics or industrial automation industry
  • Previous programming PLC/Robot experience is advantageous
  • Experience with programming languages (C/C++, Python)
  • Basic Mechanics (drafting skills)
  • Automation concepts (PLC, Drives etc.)
  • Industrial Electrical concepts & circuitry
  • Basic electronics (component identification and their functions, circuitry, digital logic circuits, etc)
  • Sensors and actuators technologies (electric, and pneumatic)
  • Knowledge standard networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and Industrial networking protocols (Device Net, Profibus, CANBus)
