Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Platform Reliability Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the system availability, incident resolution, and production stability of our trading and risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support our applications to ensure their availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines by performing log analysis, root-cause identification, and providing permanent fixes.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, DBA, and network teams for environment-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities to maintain optimal system performance.

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support with hands-on exposure to Python/Java, Cloud (AWS & Azure), and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management) to streamline support operations.
  • Experience with automation or scripting for production support to improve efficiency.
  • Exposure to financial products and trading systems to understand business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and design patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
