The Role of a Site Reliability Engineer is to ensure the stability and scalability of financial platforms.

This position requires building automation, implementing monitoring, improving incident response, and championing DevOps practices to enable Finance and Accounting systems to operate with consistency and trustworthiness.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring Accounting and Finance platforms meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Building automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Implementing and maintaining comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Leading and participating in on-call rotations, performing root cause analysis, and driving improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering.
  • Strong experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective.
