Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Visionary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and image processing, with experience working with large datasets and complex algorithms.

As a Data Visionary at our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision and ML models for satellite imagery. You will work closely with engineering, product, and the CTO to apply sophisticated modeling techniques to a modern data stack and build the future of Space Edge Computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance productivity across the data science lifecycle.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models for satellite imagery, including optical, SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, and thermal images.
  • Optimize deep learning models for edge deployment, balancing performance with efficiency, power, and computational constraints.
  • Provide MLOps, orchestration, and workflow best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into our broader pipeline.

Requirements:

For this role, we require:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • At least 3-8 years of experience in data science, with demonstrated hands-on experience in computer vision, image processing, or machine learning.
  • Strong proficiency in Python; experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV.
  • General software engineering skills: cloud infrastructure, Docker, git best practices, etc.
  • Exposure to C/C++, CUDA, ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, or FPGA acceleration is a plus.
  • Experience with architectures such as CNNs, ViTs, GANs and foundational models etc
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first setup.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and product conversations across geographies.
