Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate animal welfare professional to join our emergency response team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in handling urgent animal emergencies, rescues, and cruelty cases involving animals.

The position requires a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution and voluntary or other experience in handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals. Computer proficiency, fluency in Hindi and English, and knowledge of local Indian languages are also essential.

Key responsibilities include responding to emergency and general cruelty-case calls and emails, arranging timely help for animals in need, coordinating with approved animal-protection organizations, and maintaining thorough records of calls and emails received.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and time-management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to deal patiently with animal-protection organizations, volunteers, and other contacts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
  • Voluntary or other experience handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals a plus
  • Computer proficiency
  • Fluency in Hindi and English
  • Knowledge of other local Indian languages a plus
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including multi-tasking
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal patiently with animal-protection organisations, volunteers, and other contacts
