Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager II to lead our team of engineers in delivering high-quality products and projects.

  • As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of engineers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the engineering domain relevant to the team's work and be able to provide technical guidance when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration between engineering teams and other stakeholders such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement to help team members grow professionally.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Technical Background: Strong technical background in the relevant engineering field, enabling you to understand and guide your team effectively.
  • Exceptional Leadership Abilities: Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate your team members, and to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in project management methodologies to plan, execute, and deliver projects successfully.
