Key Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Role

This position involves designing and implementing robust marketing automation solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including its various products and services.

The successful applicant should be well-versed in programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. They should also have expertise in cloud-based technologies and a solid understanding of database concepts.

  • Develop complex SQL queries to manipulate and transform data within the Salesforce environment.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to meet specific business needs.
  • Design and implement scalable marketing automation workflows using journey builder and automation workflows.
  • Build and validate email templates using AMPscript and integrate dynamic content with data extensions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot marketing automation processes for optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop strategies for campaign optimization.

To excel in this position, the following skills are necessary:

  1. Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and execution of marketing campaigns.
  2. Strong understanding of marketing automation concepts, including email marketing, segmentation, personalization, and customer journey mapping.
  3. Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization, including data extensions, contact builder, automation workflows, and content builder.
  4. Expertise in SQL and experience in developing complex queries and data manipulation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  5. Familiarity with APIs and integration methods, including SOAP and REST.
  6. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for email template customization and dynamic content creation.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to marketing automation processes.
