Our Edge Engineering team is at the forefront of shaping cutting-edge technologies. As a senior software engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall health, performance, and capacity of our Internet-facing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical vision for one or more of our Internet-facing services, driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of edge engineering.
  • Develop and maintain complex applications, leveraging expertise in Unix/Linux systems and programming languages such as Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby.
  • Design and implement tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale Linux environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, SREs, Network Engineers, Product Managers, etc., to drive business outcomes and foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems.
  • 5+ years of experience coding in one or more programming languages like Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in a UNIX-based large-scale web operations role.
  • Experience with .NET, C#, Android or iOS development.
  • Experience in building systems automation and server backends with Python.
  • Experience with writing scalable programs in Rust/Golang/Python.
