Business Valuation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Valuation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting thorough valuations, analyzing complex financial data, and developing strategic valuation models.

The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting relevant data from financial statements, tax returns, and other documents, and then using this information to inform valuation conclusions. Additionally, they will need to stay up-to-date with industry trends, guideline public companies, and precedent transactions.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough business valuations, including analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents.
  • Develop and implement strategic valuation models to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze industry trends, guideline public companies, and precedent transactions to stay up-to-date with market developments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all valuation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • A business valuation credential (CFA), CA, MBA, or other advanced degree or certification.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Minimum four years of experience in accounting or finance.
