Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead and deliver major energy projects across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a dynamic role that requires a proven track record of success in consulting on substations projects, with experience in primary substation systems (up to 500kV).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex Energy projects and substation design standards, including HV substation design, protection schemes and primary plant technologies.

  • Key responsibilities will include partnering closely with clients to deliver remarkable projects.
  • A successful candidate will be an approachable leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The position requires local market knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and a strong understanding of the Energy market across Australia and/or New Zealand.

About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Driving delivery and technical excellence while ensuring our project teams are delivering on client expectations.
  2. Identifying and leading innovation by seeking and implementing new approaches to continuously enhance our ability to meet client needs.

You will also be required to lead, deliver and support engineers across large multidisciplinary Energy projects, focusing on Primary Systems Substation design and design review.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience and a proven understanding of consulting in substations projects.
  • Familiarity with complex Energy projects and substation design standards is essential.
  • Proven background in partnering closely with clients to deliver remarkable projects is necessary.
  • Approachable leadership with excellent written and verbal communication skills is crucial.
  • Local market knowledge of NEM and strong understanding of the Energy market across Australia and/or New Zealand is required.
