Senior Energy Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Energy Expert to lead our energy transition practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth studies related to power market & system assessment/feasibility, and contributing to the formulation of policy & regulatory interventions in the clean energy sector.


About the Role:
  • Technical analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of Clean Energy Technologies (Solar, Wind, Energy Storage & Green Hydrogen/P2X), Transmission, and Power/Electricity market trends.
  • Policy Analysis: Collaborate with our policy team to analyze and interpret energy policies and regulations that impact clean energy projects, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, policies, and market dynamics in the energy sector in India and globally, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Engage with clients and assist in identifying issues, developing solutions, and delivering results.
  • Report preparation and generation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations, including proposals, to communicate complex ideas and data effectively.
  • Manage teams of analysts and consultants by delegating tasks, disseminating information, and providing guidance for ensuring timely execution and completion, including invoicing and project closure.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and/or modelling skills with experience in energy policy and regulation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Power/Electricity market with RE Integration issues, including policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable insights.
  • Independent and team-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Preferred work experience in the renewable energy industry.
