Job Overview

Karix is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, configuring and troubleshooting Karix products while ensuring fast, accurate, and secure execution of operational processes.

We're looking for someone with expertise in Ruby or Python, who can automate and streamline our systems for better customer experience.

About the Role:

  • Implement requested integrations with Internal teams / customers
  • Provide Level 2 technical support for Internal team queries
  • Develop tools to reduce errors and enhance customer experience
  • Analyze root causes of production errors
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, deploy updates and fixes
  • Create scripts for automated visualization
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL
  • Strong Linux Administration & troubleshooting skills, scripting expertise, VMware, Cron scheduling for backups, LVM
  • Familiarity with Java, C++, Ansible, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, routing)
  • Knowledge of UAT-DC-DR environment, VAPT, SCD, SCR, SAN Storage
  • Understanding of MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, Backup & restore, Commvault
  • Any additional technical exposure to different technologies is an advantage
  • Packaging installation, patch management, and upgrades
  • Basic understanding of languages (Shell scripting, Python, Perl)
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
