Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team.
- This is a role that requires a high degree of technical proficiency and expertise in industrial automation systems.
- Total Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in automation engineering is required.
- Willingness to Travel: The selected candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% annually.
- Comfortable with Hands-on Field Work: This position involves working on site, therefore the candidate should be comfortable with hands-on field work.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD), and other relevant programming languages is required.
- PID Programming & Loop Tuning: The candidate should have experience in PID programming and loop tuning.
- Communication Protocols: Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, CC-Link, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless, IoT, and MQTT is essential.
- Platforms Used: Familiarity with Mitsubishi, Siemens, Schneider, and other relevant platforms is necessary.
- IO List Preparation & Review: The candidate should have experience in preparing and reviewing IO lists.
- SCADA / HMI Development: Experience in SCADA/HMI development is preferred but not mandatory.
- Panel Engineering Knowledge: Knowledge of panel engineering is required.
- Thermocouple, Pressure, and Level Transmitters / Switches: Familiarity with thermocouple, pressure, and level transmitters/switches is necessary.
- Proximity Sensors, Modulating Valves: Knowledge of proximity sensors and modulating valves is required.
- Instrumentation & Control Earthing: The candidate should have experience in instrumentation and control earthing.
- Power Earthing: Familiarity with power earthing is necessary.
- Safety Systems: Familiarity with safety systems, including SIL and interlocks, is preferred.
- Site Commissioning Experience: The candidate should have experience in site commissioning.
- Panel Wiring, Termination: Proficiency in panel wiring and termination is necessary.
- Physical Work During Setup: The selected candidate must be willing to perform physical work during setup.
- Multi-Site Execution: Experience in multi-site execution is necessary.
- Managed Teams / Technicians: The candidate should have experience in managing teams and technicians.
- Hands-on with Industrial Automation Projects: The selected candidate should have experience in working with industrial automation projects.
- Vendor Coordination & Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with vendor coordination and procurement is necessary.
- Ownership of Deliverables in Projects: The candidate should have ownership of deliverables in projects.
- Functional Design Specification (FDS): The candidate should have experience in creating functional design specifications.
- IO Documentation, Wiring Diagrams: Familiarity with IO documentation and wiring diagrams is necessary.
- Control Panel Layout / GA Review: The selected candidate should have experience in reviewing control panel layouts and general arrangement drawings.
- Reporting, Email & Team Communication: Familiarity with reporting, email, and team communication is necessary.
- Remote Diagnostics / Cloud Integration: Familiarity with remote diagnostics and cloud integration is preferred.
