Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Data Security Specialist with experience in implementing and maintaining data protection policies using BigID. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain data protection policies using BigID.
  • Configure and manage the BigID platform to ensure secure and efficient operation.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates or patches as needed.
  • Collaborate with data governance, IT security, compliance, and legal teams to align BigID's configuration with business needs and regulatory obligations.
  • Support continuous improvement of BigID policy workflows, risk models, and reporting dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide day-to-day engineering support for BigID platform operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with BigID and implementing data protection policies.
  • Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data governance, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with BigID's capabilities, including data discovery, classification, and labelling.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and PCI-DSS.
