Job Title:

A Payroll Consultant role is available to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Operations:
  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely payments and accurate deductions on a bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis.
  • Review payroll data accuracy, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation-related data.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, and local tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax reports, including quarterly and annual filings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing, ideally within the US.
  • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, UltiPro) is a plus.
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, including tax deductions, benefit deductions, and garnishments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in payroll data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
