Drive revenue growth with data-driven strategies

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading revenue recognition processes in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing internal controls over revenue accounting processes to ensure SOX compliance and mitigate financial risks.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent analytical skills, the initiative to work independently within established guidelines, and the ability to handle diverse activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead revenue recognition processes in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment
  • Design and implement internal controls over revenue accounting processes to ensure SOX compliance and mitigate financial risks
  • Analyze and reconcile revenue accounts, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to senior management
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and revenue adjustments
  • Drive automation and process improvements in revenue accounting workflows using ERP systems like SAP, Oracle
  • Act as the SME for audits, liaising with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and resolve queries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or commensurate experience
  • Relevant experience in GL Accounting, month-end close and reporting, intercompany, reconciliation
  • Intermediate level of MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint & Working on Excel templates
  • Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
