Job Role

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all statutory and labour compliance requirements are met at our company level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with HR and third-party service providers to ensure accurate employee data is maintained.
  • Verify and update employees' statutory compliance records for future audit purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, including Employees Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance Corporation, and Professional Tax.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)KPA 1: Compliance Strategy and Implementation
  • Develop and implement sound internal controls to monitor adherence.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and HR as needed.
  • Understand compliance practices and vendor associated scopes at our company level.
KPA 2: Employee Benefits & Compliance Knowledge Communication
  • Share information to educate employees on Labour Laws and new codes.
  • Provide updates on recent amendments in terms of labour laws and share with employees.
  • Communicate with HR function leaders to keep other executives informed on potential HR compliance risks.
KPA 3: Provident Fund and Employee State Insurance Corporation
  • Manage new joiner records, profile creation, and PF member ID allocation.
  • Process monthly challan payments, verify statutory compliance-related documents, and send reports to third parties.
KPA 4: Professional Tax (PT) and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
  • Handle PAN India stores PT and LWF compliance, fill monthly and periodical returns, and remittance.
  • Validate employee deductions and coordinate with labour authorities to close notices.
