Job Title: Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, managing revenue recognition processes, and providing technical accounting support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording income, expenses, and changes in assets and liabilities.
  • Review and approve journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement trend analyses for senior management.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Serve as an internal technical accounting expert, performing research and preparing technical accounting memos.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during contract negotiation processes to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Participate in quarterly forecasting procedures and the annual budget process.
  • Support the annual audit and quarterly reviews, providing supporting analysis and technical accounting memos.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of financial and accounting experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Public accounting experience required.
  • Strong technical accounting background, including knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with accounting systems, Microsoft D365 Finance a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to analyze complex data using tools like V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
