About Our Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Network Systems Specialist.

As a Network Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our network systems. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, creating exhaustive test plans, and automating test cases.

You will work extensively with RHEL and Unix-based operating systems, including scripting. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud security.

You will develop expertise in OTN, DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet & GMPLS transport protocols. You will conduct tests, analyze results, diagnose issues, and report bugs efficiently.

Furthermore, you will work with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive QL. You will enhance analytical and debugging skills for complex system troubleshooting.

In addition, you will improve verbal and written communication for technical documentation and customer interactions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in an Engineering stream.
  • 10+ years of previous experience in telecommunications network and system verification.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Programming skills (Python, Java, SQL).
  • Exposure to technologies like DWDM, CWDM, SONET, OTN, Ethernet, IP, GMPLS.
