Psychiatrist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist (MD DNB) to join our mental health centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with complex mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Prescribe and monitor medications, including opioid substitution therapy as per national guidelines.
  • Provide empathetic counselling, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, comprising psychologists, counsellors, nurses, and social workers, for holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, ensuring compliance with clinical and ethical standards.
  • Participate in awareness, training, and capacity-building programs related to mental health and de-addiction.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and contribute to research and program development at the centre.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • MD/ DNB in Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
  • Proven experience in de-addiction, rehabilitation, or OST centres will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and counselling skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
