Contact Mr Nishant Chaudhary WhatsApp 91 94114 66890 Job Title Consultant Psychiatrist MD DNB Location OST Centre Jammu Kashmir Job Type Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist MD DNB to join our OST Opioid Substitution Therapy Centre in Jammu Kashmir The role involves providing comprehensive mental health care managing patients with substance use disorders and supporting their psychosocial rehabilitation Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with mental health and substance use disorders Prescribe and monitor medications including opioid substitution therapy as per national guidelines Provide counselling psychoeducation and crisis intervention to patients and families Collaborate with psychologists counsellors nurses and social workers for holistic patient care Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical and ethical standards Participate in awareness training and capacity-building programs related to mental health and de-addiction Support quality assurance and contribute to research and program development at the centre Qualifications Requirements MD DNB in Psychiatry from a recognized institution Valid registration with the Medical Council of India State Medical Council Prior experience in de-addiction rehabilitation or OST centres will be an added advantage Strong communication empathy and counselling skills Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient-centred care Work Schedule Full-time 6 days a week as per centre schedule Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
