Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations.

  • Have proven work experience as an accounting leader with a strong track record of managing financial health, administering accounting operations, and meeting legal requirements in India and the US.
  • Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including MIS reporting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bookkeeping, MIS reporting, and AP/AR activities for US accounting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Support corporate budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining high accuracy standards.
  • Advise team members on non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Collaborate with the company auditor to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
  • Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Ensure strict compliance with outlined processes and industry best practices.
  • Take ownership of your work and your team, and be accountable for meeting company obligations.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling, including work assignments, employee training, and employee vacations, breaks, overtime assignments, and backup for absent employees.
  • Provide effective, constructive, and timely feedback to your team, set the bar, and help them meet or exceed it.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
  • Work with direct reports to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor progress to enhance professional development.

Experience and Skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Good knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory matters enabling core accounting and finance functions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others.
  • Hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Immediate Joiner, Qualified/Certified CA/CMA
  • Experience in IT/service sector
  • Knowledge in US and Indian Taxes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Overall 4-7 years of experience in finance/accounts with 2-3 years of people management experience.
  • Strong financial and accounting background with a passion for helping teams achieve their goals.
  • Commerce Graduate, preferably Qualified/Semi-Qualified CA/CMA
