Secure Identity Solutions Specialist

The role of a Secure Identity Solutions Specialist involves designing and implementing secure identity solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related Ping Identity products.

  • The successful candidate will possess technical expertise in developing and maintaining backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows.
  • A strong engineer is required to integrate applications into SSO frameworks using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols.
  • This position entails collaborating with architects, security teams, and application owners to deliver secure identity solutions.
  • Troubleshooting complex authentication and federation issues across environments is also a key aspect of this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IAM, with a focus on SSO and federation.
  • Hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingAccess, and other Ping Identity tools is essential.
  • Proficiency in Java backend development and scripting (PowerShell, Python) is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC is required.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, SCIM is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman is beneficial.
  • Basic Linux administration and PKI (X.509 certificates) knowledge is necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are essential.
